After a hugely successful debut, the Coonawarra Woof & Wine Walk is back for 2026 – and we’re raising the bar. Expect an even bigger, better experience along the trail, with more to see, sip, and enjoy with your dog by your side.
Stroll at your own pace through the heart of Coonawarra, stopping in at participating cellar doors along the way to enjoy wine, food, and a welcoming atmosphere for both you and your four-legged companion.
Last year saw strong attendance, wonderful feedback, and plenty of wagging tails – and we’re working behind the scenes to make this year’s event even more enjoyable, with a few new ideas in the mix.
Whether you joined us for the first walk or are planning your first visit, 2026 is shaping up to be a day worth marking in the calendar.

Bio-security – Don’t spead Phylloxera
Coonawarra’s vineyards are world-renowned, and it’s vital we protect them from the threat of phylloxera, a destructive vineyard pest. To help us safeguard the region, we ask all participants to follow these important biosecurity guidelines:
- One dog per person – each dog must have a dedicated handler.
- All dogs must remain on-leash at all times.
- Stay on the designated walking trail – please do not enter vineyard rows or walk/drive into areas beyond the marked path.
- Phylloxera Foot Bath – use the provided foot bath stations if required before entering the trail.
